Top Weekly Sellers: Proof First Spouse Coins

This week, two Proof versions of First Spouse Gold Coins were hot sellers in the series. Sarah Polk and Julia Tyler Proofs jumped by 339 and 218, respectively. Their uncirculated options didn’t do bad either. Polk’s climbed by 164 and Julia Tyler’s uncirculated picked up 139.

The figures show demand higher for five of ten First Lady coins when compared to the prior week. Performing marginally better were Van Buren’s Liberty and Letitia Tyler proofs. The former increased by 99 from 87 and the latter improved by 79 from 78.

As predicted on CoinNews, First Spouse Gold Coin prices increased today, since gold’s London Fix average rose over $1,000 an ounce for the past week. According to the Mint’s website, Proof and Uncirculated’s prices are $679 and $665.75, respectively.
