First Spouse Coin Sales Figures logoIt was an ungentle week for First Spouse Gold Coin sales, to say the least. With the exception of Anna Harrison spouse coins, all other figures fell.

The US Mint does not include reasons for coin movements, up or down, in their weekly sales reports. However, at least a portion of the declines is likely attributed to returns, with collectors sending back recent purchases following the $25 price reduction last Wednesday for each coin.

Demand for 2009 Anna Harrison First Spouse Gold Coins picked up despite her sister coin loses. Unit sales for the proof were up 173 while the uncirculation option climbed 69. Since they first went on sale March 5, a combined 8,529 have been sold.
