If you haven’t visited the coin Photo Guide, you may wish to do so as that is already a popular page. It contains the proof and uncirculated images of every released First Spouse Coin, plus information for each.
2009 has five new coins coming. We will add photos of each and talk about them as soon as they are available from the United States Mint.
If you are curious as to how the First Spouse series first began, it came about with legislation passed in 2005. The legislation also authorized the circulating Presidential $1 Coins.

Thank you for starting this informational site for the First Spouse Coins.
I think they are the most interesting, beutiful, and historically significant coins that I’ve encounterd. I am intrigued with them, and I haven’t seen any real serious discussions, opinions or comments on these coins anywhere. It’s as if they don’t exhist! Anyway, I hope that this site will attract some First Spouse collecters, and pehaps there will be sone interesting comments and discussions about these wonderful coins.

I agree completely! These coins are really unique and you don’t hear about them compared to other modern coins. As this site develops and people hear more about the upcoming releases, hopefully more discussions will follow.
