Then, six of eight coins retreated in sales. The newest US Mint figures show four of eight coins gained, one was unchanged and three declined, when comparing the week prior and week-over-week increases for the gold coins.
Letitia Tyler First Spouse Coins went on sale July 2. Both options have declined in demand — a mostly normal occurrence when several weeks have passed since launch. Further declines should be anticipated during the weeks to come. As for the numbers, the proof picked up by 235 from the prior 376 gain while the uncirculated climbed by 108 versus 173.
The proof Anna Harrison was the other coin to slide, with 56 new coins sold compared to the previous 58. Jackson Liberty’s proof was the gold coin that remained unchanged with the same 60 additional sold. The uncirculated option was a leader in the First Lady series, gaining 48 over the prior 15.
